The Principle of An Honest Mistake

The principle of an honest mistake is a phenomenon which begins with making a decison to do something. Then you throw yourself wholeheartedly into that decision only to find out that the information you based it on was wrong…

By the time you found out the information was wrong you were already committed and “down the road” with your time, energy and commitment… Did you just stop and give up?…Or did you face the reality, find a solution and continue to move ahead and still reach your goal?

In “The Intentional Prosperity™ System” I refer to this phenomenon as “the principal of the honest mistake”…

What it comes down to is this:

You are never punished or put at a disadvantage because you made an honest decision based upon faulty information…

Ask anyone who has succeeded in life by following their passion and they will acknowledge and verify this amazing phenomenon taking place in their own lives…

You can base an honest decision on completely faulty information (I’ve done this many times haven’t you?) and through an amazing unexplained sequence of events you are shown what the faulty information was and given a chance to adjust…

And still reach and achieve the goals you wanted to!

But there’s a catch: The initial decision has to be made from a pure agenda! It must come from the most honest place you are capable of…

What this means is that your intent is for good… Good for yourself and good for others.

That’s the difference between those who base a decision on faulty information and still succeed at reaching their goals versus someone who fails… It’s all in the agenda which drives the decision…

The principle of an honest mistake requires an honest attempt from an honest place inside you…

It’s the honesty that makes the principle kick in and still bring you to the desired outcome. You see, when you are honest there is a natural tendency to seek the truth… Believe it or not this tendency is always rewarded with clarity… The ability to see through the maze and find the pathway that gets you to your desired outcome…

So making an honest mistake is always a powerful learning experience… Because it is life’s way of giving you the most personal of all possible lessons on how to get to where you want to be from where ever it is you begin your journey…

People can’t change

“People can’t change unless they first experience an emotional trauma which crumbles the very foundation of their core belief system… Only then can they actually change…”

This was the opinion of a very close friend of mine who had been a certified mental health care provider for the VA and had treated thousands of people through the years.

His opinion is not isolated by any means. This belief may be widely held among mental health care professionals… Which may come as a surprise to those of us who have experienced first hand that it is indeed possible to change.

I remember how shocked I was when he said this to me. He was someone who professed to be very enlightened. The statement “people can’t change” seemed completely out of character.

On the other hand, when you examine the lives of most people, his opinion may hold some water… For many people, it takes a personal emotional catastrophe of some kind to cause them to step off the merry-go-round of their day-to-day lives.

Even those individuals who know they are walking down the wrong path will not change direction until they get jolted into having to face the consequences of their actions, attitudes, opinions and beliefs…

So the question I have to pose here is: Why would anybody knowing something was wrong with some part of their life continue to ignore the foregone conclusion which always accompanies that kind of rationalization? You always hit the wall at some point… If you don’t believe me just look around and you’ll see that it happens to people all the time…

You already know where you’re heading when you are heading down the wrong path… You feel it… yet you shift your attention away from it as if it will just go away.

Well, it doesn’t.

Ask anyone who has experienced a mid-life crises. After they pick themselves up from the crash they inevitably experience… They are always surprised when they finally remember that “the signs” were clearly visible in their lives years before the traumatic life changing event manifested itself… They knew it was coming and did nothing about it.

Are you denying something right now that will turn out to be a ticking time-bomb in your life? You have the power and the responsibility to adjust the trajectory of your life before things get out of control… Remember: You can change. All you have to do is make the decision to do it.

Fear Of Happiness…

On IntentionalProsperity.com’s sister site www.passion-unlocks-prosperity.com one of the most requested pages, (according to google) is “Fear of Happiness”…So I thought it might be a good topic for this forum…

Have you been conditioned to believe that happiness is something you must first earn before you have the right to experience it? That it is something that comes only after struggle, pain and discomfort? A commodity you have to pay for in advance before you can actually experience it in your life…

Have you ever felt uncomfortable or had the feeling of dread when something good (that makes you feel happy) suddenly appears in your life?…Wondering when “its too good to be true” is going to kick in and bring everything back to the way it was?

Hey, I’ve been there. For many years I thought that I simply didn’t deserve joy and fulfillment in my life…So, I made sure that I didn’t have any. You see, when you honestly believe you don’t deserve good in your life you will sabotage whatever good does appear in your life…I know, I did it many times… And in those moments when I knew I was engaging in activities that would quickly undermine the good thing…It was as if I heard the combined voices of every negative person and bad experience from my past suddenly confirming that I was not worthy of happiness.

Those feelings that take over and lead you to actively deconstruct joy and happiness in your life are powerful and ever present.

There is only one cure that I know (first hand) that works like magic to erase those feelings…Feeling which always set the stage for our automatic deconstructive attitudes and actions: Self forgiveness and forgiving others.

To change the underlying emotional echoes of past experiences which act to sabotage our day to day life we must take direct action to once and for all break the hold of those past experiences which have no real connection to who we’ve become or choose to be…

Until that personal cleansing and healing process is undertaken, you will see the continuation of your life playing the same old movie over and over again…A movie that always has the same predictable ending regardless of the situation, the scene and the actors.

You are both the script writer and Director of your life movie…So do some editing in your emotional memory bank and give yourself the outcome you desire.

You deserve joy, continuing happiness and fulfillment in your life…The fact that you’ve made it this far means you have successfully earned your place in the sun…
Now claim it!

What is prosperity and abundance to you?

To me prosperity and abundance is defined by how I live. I live where I want to live. I live life on my own terms. I have time to watch the birds play in the bird bath and eat the bird seed I put out for them.

I work when I want. It may be a 1 o’clock in the morning on a Thursday or 8 am on a Saturday morning. I answer the phone and make phone calls when I want not when some boss tells me to make them… And I talk to interesting friendly people, people who I can help and who can help me. All my relationships are mutually beneficial.

Prosperity and abundance are self definable. You don’t have to accept someone else’s definition. What are they to you? Do you want money to travel or do you just want to not worry about how to pay the bills? You decide! Dream big!

If money wasn’t an object, what would you be doing with your life right now?

Would you still be working in your same job? Or would you be sailing around the world on your own yacht? I’m not the yachting type myself, but you get the picture.

Set some time aside and write out everything you would want if you had billions of dollars. If you had more money than you could ever spend, what would you spend it on? Make a list. Don’t be afraid to dream and dream big. Show yourself what you truly believe you are worth.

Then if you feel that you could use a new unique online program to help you with your personal growth so you feel that you really deserve all the things on that list you wrote, come see us at Intentional Prosperity. We will help you redefine what prosperity and abundance are to you.

About Prosperity and Abundance

A good friend of mine has a house on Canyon Ferry Lake here in southwestern Montana.

It’s only about four miles away from me on the other side of the hill…

Now this place has been in his family for decades. The lake itself is actually man made… a portion of the Missouri River with a dam. About 30 miles long, the lake is one of the most beautiful places in Montana.

This is the kind of place people pay thousands of dollars to rent…

You see places like this all the time in the movies…The rugged beautiful mountain lake, the amazing view, you know what I mean.

So when my friend gave me the keys to his place this summer and told me to use it whenever I want… I was blown away.

One of my dreams was to have a place on the lake I could escape to!

That’s how prosperity and abundance works… Your dreams come true in ways that are unexpected and better than you could have imagined!

Don’t get me wrong, I knew that the dream would happen. I knew it because I understand the “process” that is responsible for making dreams come true.

You see, all of my dreams come true… It’s always a pleasant surprise though to recognize and realize that yet another dream has come to pass.

You know, all of our dreams come true all the time. Your day to day life is the result of all the dreams you really believed were going to come true… All those desires you surrendered to.

The thing is, dreams can be both good and bad.

Either way, you will eventually experience what ever it is you really believe. This is just the way it is…

The trick is to shift the “process” so that the good dreams far outweigh the bad ones. Well, it’s not really a trick it’s a mindset. One you’ve got to consciously create and maintain…

Hey, I’m living proof that it works!

That’s why I named the “process” Intentional Prosperity
