There comes a point in life when you either accept or reject the notion that more exists …than what your five senses tell you.

Most of us will choose to accept the construct of reality which is safe. The familiar lowest common denominator, which is the popular day-to-day reality the majority of people function within. Then there are those, much fewer in number, who challenge the validity and limitation of the common life.

For those who choose to test the boundaries of accepted reality, nothing again is ever the same.

What you begin to realize is that our common reality is largely a distraction. Popular thought and action is process oriented rather accomplishment focused. This enables the “institutions” to organize, pontificate and sustain their “process” which becomes the sole purpose of the institution.

The truth seeker recognizes the smoke and mirrors of those engaged in preserving the status quo.

It’s quite shocking to see someone who has been honored for a lifetime of doing nothing innovative or new. A person who has steadfastly held onto a belief system which is predicated upon maintaining and perpetuating the “process” for the next generation. Becoming an expert about the belief system, without ever truly understanding it and applying it, is actually the desired outcome.

It’s not surprising that the common world is populated with experts who can recite chapter and verse but cannot point to the their own lives as an example of what they know and believe.

Any belief system that does not compel you to fundamentally alter your consciousness, change your life and take responsibility for becoming the example of what you profess to “know” is little more than a form of entertainment.

A mind game and a distraction.
