Linking To Your Dreams: Part Two

Each flavor/essence you have linked to also represents a particular pathway in your day-to-day life.

As you may already know if you’ve been following this blog – a pathway is very much like a “channel” in which what you desire – can move toward you and you toward it.

Remember:  The time it takes to manifest a dream is always limited to the pathways which you have in place at any given time.

The more pathways – which are the relationships, situations and things –  and other links you already have in place – you create –  the faster you are able to manifest…

Back to the dream cake:

By focusing upon the unique flavor which represents your dream – instead of attempting to rationalize how it’s going to look and feel with the limiting aspects of your current intellect – you will literally “feel your way” into the set of circumstances where you dream is possible – much faster than any kind “planning/contriving/striving” will ever get you.

Embrace the flavor and you’ll become sensitized to other – relative – flavors

That’s the linking process

Since each dream is made of many flavors which come together to create the unique dream flavor – you will become aware of the individual flavors as the opportunity to link to them becomes available to you.

When the linking process reaches a certain “critical mass” – an obvious course of action – combined  with your own natural confidence – makes itself known to you.

Manifesting your dream using this process makes the dream always seem just the next natural step in your journey – because it is!

Linking To Your Dreams

Linking to your dreams is a powerful technique that “tunes” you into the zone – where the possibilities exist that can turn a dream into reality…

How do you begin the linking process?

What I’ve found is the very first step necessary is to identify the “essence” of what you want.

This is very different than what many “positive mental attitude” purveyors will tell you – they say get a very detailed image of what it is you want – which is fine if you want to buy a car – but highly limiting if your manifesting a dream.

Your dream has a unique emotional flavor associated with it

This is the key to linking – the essence I’m talking about is the very flavor of emotion which accompanies your thoughts about what your particular dream may be.  Emotion is a language of feeling – closely associated with what we experience with music.  Unlike music, which in it’s current popular form is limited to twelve notes – the flavors or individual “colors” of emotional feelings are unlimited…

Everything in your day-to-day life has a corresponding emotional flavor –  which you have already “linked” to. Think about your favorite something or other – like your favorite set of clothes or your favorite food –  the way you feel about these things are very different than the feelings you have about other things.– The feelings about your favorite things are in fact the essence of those things. You feel your favorite clothes before you see them or touch them because you are linked to their essence – which is that unique flavor of feeling associated with them.

The flavor of emotion you feel –  which is tied to things, situations and relationships in your life –  can be linked together with other “flavors” or essences to create an overall feeling which “tunes” you into the zone –  which will most easily manifest your dream.

Think of flavor linking like putting together the recipe for your favorite cake

A cake is made up of several different flavors.  Each ingredient has a flavor that can stand alone – but when combined together with other ingredients and their unique flavors – you create a overall flavor which is the sum of the parts – you have “linked” together to create the ultimate “cake flavor” you desire.

Making your dreams come true works the same way.

By linking the most desirable unique flavors together from experiences, things and relationships – you are able to create the unique “dream flavor” –  which is not limited by your analytical mind’s attempt to quantify and rationalize –  within it’s own limited understanding of what is possible… Focusing on the essence/flavor of your dream begins the process of linking to the other similar flavors within your day-to-day reality – which are the necessary ingredients for your dream (cake)…

Here It Comes…

Did you have a good holiday season – I hope so because the party’s over!

Okay, so I wake up today to find that Bloomberg is reporting home sales were off again in December. Well that was expected but here’s the thing that really caught my attention:  Their poll of 60 “experts” underestimated the drop.  Let me put it this way –  It was almost 300% worse than they projected!

I’ve talked about this before

We keep hearing those three words: “Worse than expected” with every new report on the condition of the economy. If you’ll remember I said the economic situation doesn’t fit the current “models” for accurately projecting what’s coming.  When you hear a report that experts are predicting a 2% decline in some area of the economy next month – you should be interpreting it as a 4% to 6% decline – because that’s what’s been going on over the last few months – The projections of the experts have been 2 to 3 times lower than the actual amount in almost every case.

So here’s what I think may be going on:

Nobody want’s to admit how bad things are because nobody want’s to be called a “doom and gloomer”.  I’ve already had to defend myself on a couple of radio interviews from that label because of my work on the Intentional Self-Reliance Boot Camp… As if preparing for the unknown and doing what you can in order to survive and prosper is somehow being negative and expecting the worst…

Burying your head in the sand because the truth makes you feel uncomfortable is far more dangerous than simply facing reality and making sure you are in the best possible position to ride the storm…

How is that negative or “doom and gloom”?

Putting yourself in the best possible position to master the new opportunities which present themselves whenever a change to the status quo takes place – means you are adjusting your perception to include the reality of what may be possible at any given moment.

This minimizes “surprises” and maximizes your ability to maintain control over your options.

If you’re afraid to see things as they really are – your fear will eventually turn you into a victim of what you refuse to accept as the current reality.

Only by understanding the current reality will you be able to create your own “parallel reality” which empowers your ability to find your passion and live a lifestyle that allows you to follow your dreams…
