I think it’s important to clarify something.

A clearly defined goal is only a starting point.  It’s a focus for the journey you’re going to take in order to get from where you are to where you want to be.

The key to getting to where you really want to be in your life is to allow yourself to be open to altering how you define that goal – as you journey toward it.

That’s why my definition of a “clearly defined goal” may be very different than the literal interpretation of those words.

A clearly defined goal is having a clear “feeling” of the “emotional flavor” that goal represents.

The mistake too many people make is they try to imagine every detail of the goal – which always limits it to their current belief of what’s possible or probable.

The thing is, as you journey toward your goal you go through a transformation which tends to open your eyes to greater possibilities.  In other words, you begin to “see” and understand attributes of your goal which you may not have even been aware of when you started your journey.

If you had limited yourself to only seeking your initial “picture” you may never have had the chance to realize that those original colors were very different than what you really wanted.

Focusing on the essence or “flavor” of what you desire empowers you to continue to evolve as you approach the point in time where what it is you want becomes a possibility in your life.

I believe it allows you to recognize much more quickly those relationships and opportunities which will bring you what you really want…

- and you’ll get “there” quicker than you ever imagined.
