The Phenomenon Of Conditioning

As I’ve been pursuing my new business venture - I’ve run smack into a phenomenon I refer to as “conditioning”.

Here’s what I’ve noticed:

I’ve provided a number of people with a sample of my product - the world’s most powerful anti-oxident anti-aging formula based upon the acai berry from the  Brazilian rain forest.  It’s a natural delivery system for good nutrition. Four ounces of this stuff a day (the juices of 19 different fruits)  is also the nutritional equivalent of 13 servings of fruit a day -  Really good healthy stuff.

Everyone I’ve given the product to try has said they knew they were not doing all they could as far as even meeting the Government’s “minimum” dietary suggestions of 7-10 servings of fruits and vegetables a day.

What separates the group into two distinct patterns of results is this:

Group A - are people who have a history of setting out and accomplishing  things in their lives.  These are people who have had several careers - entrepreneurs - artists - people who have different “chapters” in their lives.  The kind who have made decisions to “go their own way” and succeeded in doing so. Not so much “employee types” but people who engage life as a series of projects and challenges whether or not they are working for themselves or are employed.

Group B - are people who have a history of living their lives in the most predictable and “secure” manner possible - basically in the same kind of job - working for the Government - or other long-term institutions - never really achieving much as far as being aggressive  with their career path.  The quality of their lives are determined by the financial constraints of their jobs.

The group B people also tend to have more “chronic” problems - health - money - relationships - than the group A  people.

Even though both group A and group B people acknowledge their need for better nutrition - my personal experience has been that by far - people in group A have a substantially better experience with my product - they feel better - they want to continue using it - they are more apt to share their good experience with family and friends - for whatever reason they seem to be more sensitive to the good effects of “basic nutrition”.

I’m convinced from my own experience that there is a conditioning process which is the result of people accepting and living their lives within predictable financial - emotional  and lifestyle limits  - which acts to preclude them from having the sensitivity to recognize and acknowledge the effects of good nutrition  (or possibly “good” in general) their bodies may actually be “craving”… It’s as if there’s some kind of internal barrier they have in place which prevents them from doing anything that could possibly threaten their “status quo”.

What I’m saying here is that an individual’s mindset that has been conditioned over time to accept a predictably limited and structured reality will tend not to respond (emotionally) to something which is “good” that is placed into their day-to-day life. I say emotionally because - even though their bodies may be responding positively - they have an emotional disconnect so they fail to “experience” the good that’s happening.

I believe this is happening  because they have - over time -  reinforced their expectation that “there is nothing good - new  or unexpected” that is going to show up in their lives that can change anything.

It’s possible they are experiencing a kind of self-induced state of depression which negates any possibility that something new (and good for them) has appeared in their lives … and this happens before the good thing challenges their (depressed ) comfort zone.

Yes - I do believe this is the case!

Needless to say I’ve shifted my focus onto those individuals who fall into group A.

They tend to be more positive about their future - more open to new ideas - things and experiences -  which have the potential to enhance their lives - and they’re  more sensitive to perceiving and experiencing  “good” when they do experience it.

I’m looking for people who’ve lived their lives as a series of adventures.  They’re fun to be around - have a passion for whatever they happen to find interesting - and are naturally open to considering “the next good thing” in their lives.

For these group A types - the best is yet to come!

Transitioning Into Your Dream

Transitioning Into Your Dream

The best time to talk about this is when you’re going through it.  So from my personal real-time experience - here goes:

First of all you don’t want to believe it...

After all how many times have you been disappointed before. It’s too good to be true so it can’t possibly be.

So your transition into believing your dream is true comes in steps - little steps.

Because what you’re going through is a conditioning process that re-writes all that rationale you’ve invested in for so many years convincing yourself your dream won’t happen to you.

You are forced to re-examine the life you’ve been living and ask yourself - “Is this really all there is?

That’s a tough one - sure there’s going to be a lot of resistance.  Nobody wants to admit that they’ve compromised so much in order to live a life of so little - freedom -adventure - and so few dreams realized.

So these little steps are not easy - they require a lot of introspection.  Especially when you can no long “fault” the opportunity that can make your dream a reality.

Now you’re faced with yourself and all the little excuses and stories you’ve been telling everybody for so long - all the explanations you’ve given people for why you haven’t lived up to who you want people to think you are.  Why you’ve let yourself down.

Sure, your stories are always cutting edge - how you’re going to do this and that - when those certain things fall into place - but you fail to mention why the last big story you told didn’t pan out - and the one before that.

Now you’re faced with the truth.

It’s really been you all along.  Maybe there’s been many opportunities to make your dreams come true but you’ve been too busy telling your next big story to pay attention.

This time however - you can’t escape the truth - so you let yourself believe a little deeper and a little deeper.  With each step you feel a little more relieved and at the same time a little more anxious…

You don’t want to screw up this time…

Then you realize: I can’t screw up I can only turn my back and walk away - like so many times before.

and you take another step and believe a little more…

The Terror Of Your Dreams

The terror Of having your dreams handed to you...

One of the most terrifying experiences you can have is coming face to face the opportunity to make your dreams become your reality.  Especially when it comes into your life unexpectedly…

Your first reaction is “it’s too good to be true”.  Then all of the other “near misses” and broken promises pour into your memory.  Remember how you were burned before?  There was a time when you believed - only to have your heart broken and feel betrayed.

So where does the terror come from?

It comes from the growing realization that this time it’s really true - you can make your dreams come true - and this time it’s all up to you.

The opportunity - the process - the mechanism  isn’t going to let you down - the only thing that can let you down now -  is yourself.

This is really terrifying.

Because you can’t point to anything outside of yourself any longer  and blame it for your not manifesting your dreams.  You could before but this time you can’t.  This time around it’s the real deal - not your imagination - not wishing or hoping.  This time around you’re older - wiser - more experienced - less easily fooled. Even cautiously cynical.

It’s frightening to have your cynicism melt away as you look deeper - trying to find fault  - trying to find that red flag that you can build your rationale upon that will finally let you off the hook.

But you can’t find anything.

In fact the more closely you look - the deeper you go - the better it looks. Somebody has been where you’ve been and they attended to the details.  No - it’s not perfect - nothing in life is perfect - But you can see the striving for improvement - the not settling  for mediocrity.

And you find yourself surprised -  because you thought for a long time that you were the only one who understood how it should be - how it was going to feel when it was right.  Then you find out you’re not the only one.

That other’s have shared your pain and disappointment in the past… But never gave up hope that just maybe - one day…

Now they are coming together - thousands -  like an extended family - to create a new safe haven… A new home.

A safe place to dream - and inspire others to do the same.

As it sinks in - your growing recognition  leaves you humbled - the realization that it’s taken you a lifetime to get here - to find other people like yourself who have also come to finally believe they can live the life of their dreams.

So you take a leap of faith - after all, how many questions can you ask again and again - putting off the inevitable. Then you begin the last great adventure of your life - the one that’s gone to take you to the end of your time - the one you’ve always hoped would come one day.

And here you are - and so it is…

The Voice Of Susan Boyle

There are a few times in life when you are taken away - stunned by the unexpected.  This is the case with singer Susan Boyle.

If you haven’t heard about her go to “YouTube”  and put her name in the search feature.

Watching a direct connection from her heart through her voice to our ears and hearts is beyond anything I have ever experienced.  It’s hard to describe - you can’t put such a thing into words - but the experience leaves you humbled - touched - and satisfied on a level that makes you believe “there is a God”.

It’s not the way she looks - not her demeanor - it’s her wide open heart as she stood there all alone on that stage  -  so pure and unadulterated - she was more powerful than the audience that judged her first on outer appearance - then melted and were taken to levels of joy that will make memories for a lifetime.  The first time you hear Susan sing, she breaks through all your layers of skepticism and immediately fills you with awe.

You’ll see what I mean when you watch her performance.

Don’t forget the kleenex to wipe away the tears of joy and astonishment.
